Longway Planetarium Junteenth Celebraton of Liberation – The traditional Freedom March will start the festivities that provide spiritual covering with art activities for children, entertainment, performances, and a few special surprises. Stony Creek Art Fair – Come enjoy a beautiful art fair by the lake. This boutique juried art fair will feature artists from across the country, showcasing amazing artwork in every price range. There will be live art demonstrations and hands-on activities. Food trucks will be on-site as well. All ages. FREE event. No pre-registration required.
Stony Creek Fall Wagon Tours – at Stony Creek Metropark – 90 minute wagon tours. Book either a 10a or 1p ride. Hop on the tractor-drawn wagon and enjoy the beauty of fall along a Nature Trail. Along the way, staff will share stories about Stony Creek’s history and various natural features. After your tour, enjoy a roaring campfire to celebrate the season. Program is weather dependent. Ages 3+. $5 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 586-781-9113. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark.
