Whitmore Lake Halloween Mystery Movie – at Dusk at Northfield Community Park (next to the Whitmore Lake Post Office). Vote for your favorite family Halloween movie and then come and see which movie was selected. Pizza and snacks for sale. For more info, visit northfieldmi.gov.
Oakland County Parks will mark the Juneteenth holiday by waiving vehicle entry fees on Monday, June 19. Oakland County Parks’ Mobile Recreation Unit will also be participating in local celebration and commemoration events honoring Juneteenth throughout Oakland County with fun, free activities such as inflatables, games, climbing towers and more.
Visitors can enjoy access to general park activities, including trails, dog parks, playgrounds, picnic areas, beaches and fishing spots from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset (unless otherwise posted).
Tollgate Farm Pumpkinfest at MSU Tollgate Farm. Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin. Many events FREE, some with small fees. Food, music, farm animals, educational exhibits, and children’s activities all make for a fun fall outing for all ages. $5 per person, 3 and under FREE. Whitmore Lake Spooky Tales & Halloween Treats – Spooky stories around the campfire. Halloween games, crafts, tricks, and treats. Drop your fishing line in the Fish Pond and try to hook a surprise.
