Southfield Touch-a-Truck – Sensory sensitive hour is from 1p-2p (reduced lighting and sound). Big trucks little trucks, emergency vehicles, demonstrations, drones, and more. Hosed by the City of Southfield.
Clinton Twp Fireworks – at 6p (fireworks start at 10p). Preshow fun (fun for kids, live music) begins at 6p. Food vendors available on-site. Shuttle service and additional parking available at Erie Elementary, 9th Grade Center and St Paul of Tarsus Church. For people with loved ones interred at Resurrection Cemetery, the cemetery is extending hours on 7/4 & 7/5 to allow for visitors to share the 7/5 fireworks with their loved one. FREE Summer Shindig – Catalpa Oaks County Park Enjoy an evening of fun at Catalpa Oaks County Park. Activities include inflatables, a climbing wall, zip line, face painting, balloon artists and more. In addition, there will be a free concert from 7:30p-9p followed by a showing of the movie “Family Camp” at 9p. Food trucks will have hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn and more for sale from 6p-9p. No registration is needed, just come out and have fun. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
Kids Building Michigan Touch A Truck – at Seymour Lake Park. Hands on fun. See exciting demonstrations, run heavy machinery, and climb on trucks at the Touch a Truck event. Wheels & Squeals Touch a Truck – FREE touch a truck event a Hawthorne Park. Parking on site is extremely limited. Take advantage of the free shuttle provided by Oakland County Parks. Pick up from Marimont Church on Walton Blvd. 424 W Walton Blvd, Pontiac, MI 48340. Shuttle run from 4:45p – 8p. This event is free and open to the public. Contact 248-858-0916 for more information.
