Southfield Touch-a-Truck – Sensory sensitive hour is from 1p-2p (reduced lighting and sound). Big trucks little trucks, emergency vehicles, demonstrations, drones, and more. Hosed by the City of Southfield.

Food Trucks & FREE Family Fun – The event features a variety of Food Trucks and Free entertainment for the family including stilt walkers, magicians, balloon twisters, and music in the Festival Park. Paint Creek Center for the Arts will be in Festival Park giving out complimentary take-away potted flower plants, to decorate at home, to the first 100 kids in attendance. Additionally, a variety of stores will be featuring specials & sips throughout the day while offering assistance as you look to find that perfect gift for mom. Telly’s Greenhouse will be selling hanging baskets and porch pots onsite. Food trucks include – Don Armando’s Taqueria, Little Donut Factory, General Dogs, D’Vine Cookies. This is a FREE event. Mother’s Day Brunch at the Village of Rochester Hills – Mother’s Day brunch and dinner options at the The Village’s sit-down restaurants. Bravo! Italian Kitchen will be offering a lovely brunch featuring made-to-order scramblers and hand-crafted cocktails and a dinner menu with endless pasta options. Jagged Fork has an unlimited selection of breakfast and brunch options from pancakes to French toast to omelets & skillets for a perfect way to start the day. Maybe dinner is the way to go. Enjoy the Chef’s Feature Steak and Shrimp Americana or any classic menu items at Mitchell’s Fish Market. You can’t go wrong getting Sesame Chicken or the Mongolian Beef for dinner at P.F. Chang’s. Lyon Twp Free Summer Concerts – Music on the Grand summer concert series at Inspiration Park on Grand River in New Hudson, Michigan. Enjoy FREE family fun entertainment at Inspiration Park on select Wednesday evenings this summer from 6p-8p. In addition to live music, a food truck and kids activities will be on-site. Bring your blanket/chair and plan a relaxing and fun evening with the community. Music acts will reflect a wide variety of genres.
Southfield Free Summer Concerts – Southfield Gazebo Summer Concert Series, Eat to the Beat, Summer in the City, and Kids Concerts concerts are happening this summer. Southfield will be hosting the Gazebo Summer Concert series at Burgh Historical Park on Tuesday evenings from 7p-8:30p. Bring the family and enjoy the music!
You can also enjoy the Eat to the Beat summer morning concert series on select one Thursday a month at Civic Center Drive and Central Park Boulevard, and the Friday Night Concert Series at the Southfield Municipal Complex.

Come Out & Play – at Catalpa Oaks County Park . Enjoy a day on the playground and other fun activities during the free Come Out and Play event. During these special days, day camps and members of the public can have fun on the zipline, water and non-water inflatables and the climbing tower for free. Children must be at least 45 pounds and 42 inches tall and wear closed-toe shoes for the zipline. A waiver form (click HERE) is also required. Shoes are required for the climbing tower and socks are needed for the non-water inflatables. For the water inflatables, guests may want to bring a swimsuit or change of clothes.
