Sloan Museum Galentine’s Party – 810-237-3450, sloanlongway.org. Pamper and spoil yourself and your besties with shopping, karaoke and more. All four museum galleries will be open to event attendees until 8p. A cash bar and the Coffee Beanery Cafe will also be open for food and beverage purchases during the event. Waterford Earth Day Clean-Up – at Various Waterford Parks. Parks and Rec will supply each park with garbage bags and cleanup equipment. Call 248-674-5441 to sign up for a park. Oakland County Parks Community Garage Sale – Find hidden treasures for sale or sell items you no longer need during the Community Garage Sale. Attendance for buyers is free.
Oakland County residents, community members, direct vendors and Mom2Mom sellers are welcome to register for a booth to sell items. Registration is open now. Oakland County Airport Airshow and Open House – The annual FREE event is located at the Oakland County International Airport in Waterford.
The Airshow starts at 1:30p. The Oakland County Airport Open House runs from 10a-4p.
Dragon Wellness Festival – Tweens and Teens enjoy an afternoon of activities including live music from Lake Orion High School students, workout classes cardio drumming & yoga, rockwall, carnival games, crafts, photo booth, and more. Lunch is included. This is a FREE event. No pre-registration required.. Hosted by Orion Twp Recreation.
Blake’s Lyon Township Fall Kick-off Celebration – Free Funland admission from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (jumping pillows, John Deere Speedway, Amish play structures, Mr. Bones Outhouse, Hillbilly Wagon, and animal petting farm. Live music, food trucks, cider garden. $1 from every dozen donuts and u-pick apple bags will be donated to South Lyon based charity Active Faith
Trail Life Waterford Open House – Trail Life is a Christ-Centered, Boy-Focused mentoring and discipleship journey that speaks to the heart of a boy. Established on timeless values derived from the Bible and set in the context of outdoor adventure, boys from Kindergarten through 12th grade are engaged in a Troop setting by male mentors where they are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out the mission for which they were created.
This year’s planned outings include camping, hiking, Indoor rock climbing, a planetarium visit, and more!
Blessing of the Pets – All friendly pets (and their people) are welcome to Central Church’s annual Blessing of the Pets. Join us for an evening of fun, including:
• A special pet blessing
• Make your own dog treat

• Informational presentations on training, fostering, and more
