Farmington Martin Luther King Jr Day Celebration – All events at the Main Library take place in the Auditorium, unless otherwise noted. Annual Dr Martin Luther King Jr celebration includes activities and events for all ages!

Cub Scouts Kids Activity Booth – Families can drop-in to try the kinds of activities that Cub Scouts do, all while attending the Farmers Market. There will be a Hot Wheels “Derby” Track, a campsite to explore, Scout Law Putt-Putt, and “Community Helpers Thank You” coloring area. Every youth who visits will receive a prize. Sunflower Days – Experience a wagon ride out to a sunflower field. Learn about sunflowers and be amazed by the colors and different varieties across the field. Each guest will get to search for their one perfect sunflower to cut and take home. You won’t want to miss the prop stops scattered throughout the field for many unique photo opportunities. This program may be rescheduled depending on growing and blooming time of sunflowers. All ages. $3 per child / $5 per adult / Under 2 FREE. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 586-752-5932. A Metroparks vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Vehicle permits are on sale NOW.
