Kensington Metropark Hayride Adventure – (810-227-8910, metroparks.com). Take part behind the scenes as the draft horses are harnessed and hitched to the wagon. Learn what the different elements of their harness do and how they work together. When the horses are dressed and ready, you’ll be all set for a relaxing hayride along the farm’s wooded trails. Whitmore Lake Fireworks – Fireworks over Whitmore Lake. Dunk tank, games, food vendors start at 7pm in field across from Post Office on main St. Fireworks @ 9:55p. Parking at Northfield Community Park. For more info, visit wl4th.org.

Milford Fireworks at Kensington Metropark – The annual fireworks display will start at dusk. Tens of thousands of our neighbors gather together – over picnics and under the stars – to enjoy this celebration of our American Independence. A Metroparks vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Vehicle permits are on sale NOW. You can pick one up at metroparks.com OR visit your local Metropark today.
