West Bloomfield Easter Spring Fling Flashlight Egg Hunt – For ages 7-12. Bring a flashlight and basket to carry away all your goodies. Come at 7:30 p if you wish to participate in the train ride and the petting zoo. Event will begin when it is totally dark (approximately 8:30p). This event will go rain or shine, so dress for the weather. Winter or rain boots highly recommended. *IF not sold out in advance, on-site registration will be $10 cash only. West Bloomfield Preschool Open House – from 9a-1p & 4p-6p. Open House for The Sarah & Irving Pitt Early Childhood Center / The J Detroit. The preschool accepts children as young as newborns up to pre-K four-year-olds. In the coming academic year, enrichment program offerings include gym, music, cooking, Hebrew, and Judaic classes. As an added incentive, this year the $100 enrollment fee is being waived for new students to help reduce the overall cost, and new families that sign up by Sept. 1 will get two weeks of free school. Partridge Creek Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration – Enjoy specials, treats, live entertainment, the Tree Lighting, and Santa and Mrs Claus. The first 1000 children under the age of ten at each entrance of the mall will receive a light up wand to help Santa light the tree. While Supplies Last. Hosted by The Mall at Partridge Creek.

West Bloomfield Parks Letters to Santa event (half-hour sessions begin at 11a) – at West Bloomfield Twp Recreation Activities Center. Don’t mail your letter to Santa when you can drop it off in person. Meet Santa, give him your letter, take a family picture and he will have a cookie for you. The event is held completely outdoors and the photo backdrop is nature themed. West Bloomfield Winter Solstice Celebration at Recreation Activities Center – Celebrate the most magical and darkest night of the year and the slow return of the sun. Come learn about nature in winter as you explore the half mile lantern lit trail. Enjoy a glowing craft, view the night sky with telescopes, photo ops, cocoa and marshmallows by the fire and more.
