Indian Springs Metropark Earth Day Camp – Day camp for kids will cover the basics of reduce, reuse, recycle. Campers will learn to be more conscious visitors in the parks and in nature. Enjoy lots of fun projects and crafts. Please bring a lunch and wear clothes that can get messy. Ages 7+. $40 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 248-625-7280. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. You can purchase an annual pass HERE.
Woodside Bible Church Mom2Mom Sale – FREE admission. $10 for table rental. You may only sell items that are classified as infant, toddler, child or maternity related. No household items, like small appliances or dishes etc, may be sold. For more table rental info, email Lisa at lk-black@comcast.net

MetroBarks Dog Walking Club at Indian Springs Metropark – Prepare to walk between one to three miles along our paved trail, with stops along the way for your pups to sniff, explore and rest. Dogs are required to remain on a 6-foot leash. Please be prepared to clean up your pet’s waste. If your dog is having a bad day or displaying aggressive behaviors, you may be asked to leave the program early. Ages 8+. $3 per child / $5 per adult. Royal Oak Social District Saturdays – Downtown Royal Oak Social District – Centennial Commons / W Fifth Street Plaza Area (Closed portion) / S Center Street (Between 3rd and 4th). Visitors are invited to grab a drink in Downtown Royal Oak’s Social District and enjoy complimentary live music and yard games at three different locations. The Royal Oak Social District allows customers to purchase alcoholic beverages to-go from participating businesses, and can consume drinks in designated areas throughout Downtown Royal Oak. Indian Springs Metropark Butterfly Walk – Learn about these amazing insects and the role they play as pollinators. Then journey through the prairie to search for the variety of native plants that make Indian Springs Metropark a great butterfly habitat, and hopefully see some of the butterflies themselves. You’ll be able to take home some seeds to grow a pollinator-friendly space in your own yard. All ages. $3 per child / $5 per adult / under 2 FREE.
