Royal Oak Earth Day Fair – A rally and fair with dozens of displays by environmental and conservation groups. Hosted by turnoaklandcountygreen.com.
Indian Springs Metropark Earth Day Camp – Day camp for kids will cover the basics of reduce, reuse, recycle. Campers will learn to be more conscious visitors in the parks and in nature. Enjoy lots of fun projects and crafts. Please bring a lunch and wear clothes that can get messy. Ages 7+. $40 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 248-625-7280. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. You can purchase an annual pass HERE.

Troy Stage Nature Center Earth Day Celebration – 86 Plastic will give a short program to highlight that less than 5% of what we send to recycling is truly repurposed. She will be presenting ways to replace common household (plastic) items for a more sustainable swap. Learn how to reduce waste, reuse what you have, and even save money. Southfield Touch-a-Truck – Sensory sensitive hour is from 1p-2p (reduced lighting and sound). Big trucks little trucks, emergency vehicles, demonstrations, drones, and more. Hosed by the City of Southfield.
Farmington Hills Safety & Crime Prevention Fair – This is a FREE event for the community that is focused on providing preventative information to parents, adults, teens and even kids. Topics being discussed include: Scams/identity theft prevention, safe sleeping practices for infants, medication vs. candy, firearms safety, medication take-back, and other important topics that would benefit the public. There will be a dedicated kids area where kids can color cut-out police cars and badges.
