Camp Invention, a Nationally Acclaimed Summer Enrichment Program is coming to schools across Oakland County, Metro Detroit, and the rest of Michigan this summer.
The Camp Invention® program is the only nationally recognized, nonprofit summer enrichment program for kindergarteners through 6th graders that is inspired by the brightest thinkers around — the Inductees of the National Inventors Hall of Fame®. At Camp Invention, children are empowered to have big ideas while they take on STEM-based challenges that inspire them to question, brainstorm, collaborate with teammates and build invention prototypes.

During Camp Wonder, young innovators will
- Design and build their own mini skate park, customize their mini skateboard and practice persistence as they take on ramps, bowls, rails and more
- Transform a robot into a one-of-a-kind stuffie while exploring genetics, finding inspiration in nature and taking pride in their individuality
- Take on the role of event planner as they design a grand celebration, invent a Party Assistant and create a light-up party hat and bubble art banner
- Launch their own pop-up business while building entrepreneurship skills, making smart financial choices, using green energy and attracting customers

Camp Invention Michigan Summer Programs 2023 Instructors and Staff
Local educators will facilitate program modules and enthusiastic high school and college students will serve as Leadership Interns ensuring that one staff member is in place for every eight children.
