Camp Newaygo Summer Camps and Family Programs 2024
Mom & Me Weekend and Family Weekend – Mom & Me Weekends are for young children and their moms, grandmothers, aunts or other special female adults. Discover the joys of camping together. Sing, canoe, fish, hike, create, and recharge on these special weekends. Spend the night in the dorms, cabins, or hotel-style accommodations; and all meals are provided.
Mom & Me – June 1-2 or June 8-9 / Family Weekend – August 10-11
Girls’ Overnight Camp – Girls’ overnight summer camp is intentionally small, enabling everyone to make their own choices and explore their emerging passions. Sessions are for girls ages 7 to 17 and range from a four day/three night mini-week to one, two and multi-week sessions. Campers select their own classes, enjoy meals and free time together, and explore the outdoors on weekly campouts.
Mini Week Sessions: June 16-19, June 23-26, June 30-July 3 / Full Week Sessions: June 16-22, June 23-29, June 30-July 6, July 7-13, July 14-20, July 21-27, July 28-August 3 / Two-Week Sessions: July 7-20, July 21-August 3
Co-Ed Day Camp – Day Camp is for boys and girls entering first through seventh grades. Each week centers around a theme and every day features educational and interactive activities. Campers get to spend time at the lake, explore the woods, and much more every day.

Activities at Camp Newaygo
Camp Newaygo programs are intentionally inclusive and create an engaging atmosphere for participants with a variety of activities including a 1000’ zipline, archery, kayaking, ceramics, darkroom photography, fencing, outdoor cooking, paddleboarding, sailing, swimming, tubing, ukulele lessons, wilderness trips and more.
Camp Newaygo Facilities
Three, beautiful year-round lodges provide comfortable restrooms, indoor gathering spaces, and more without taking away from the classic, rustic charm of summer camp. Indoor dorm and hotel-style lodging is available for family programs while summer campers stay in cabins, screened huts in the trees, and platform tents. There are plenty of trails to explore and lake access to enjoy.
Camp Newaygo Summer Camps are licensed by the State of Michigan and accredited by the American Camp Association. The staff are CPR, First Aid, and Waterfront Lifeguard-certified by the American Red Cross.
