Camp Ticonderoga Troy Review

Camp Ticonderoga Troy MI Review, pics and menu info. Camp Ticonderoga is located on Rochester Road overlooking the scenic Sylvan Glen golf course. And on the inside, it has a warm, wooden, up north hunting lodge kind of feel.

Camp Ticonderoga belongs to a group of restaurants (others are The Moose Preserve Bar & Grill in Bloomfield Hills, Deadwood Bar & Grill in Northville, and Beaver Creek Tackle & Beer in Westland) that all boast casual, comfortable atmospheres with the hunting lodge-style interiors. The restaurant has been around for decades and they really take pride in the rustic charm of the sprawling location.

The first thing I noticed after the warm interior was the friendly customer service. Our waiter went above and beyond what I would expect. He patiently answered my menu questions, provided input, and tailored our order with our special requests. It’s easily observable that the staff is extremely well-trained and quite visible that they are proud to work at the location. Camp Ticonderoga is a nice, casual restaurant and the entire staff acts like it’s the Whitney or Morton’s Steakhouse – it’s very refreshing to see that level of service (and pride).

NEW – Camp Ticonderoga is now featuring the current rage – heated dining igloos! This winter, you can book an outdoor heated igloo (accommodates up to 10 guests). You’ll love the scenic golf course view overlook of the igloo during the winter. You can book the igloo experience online only at

The menu at Camp Ticonderoga is expansive, diverse and affordable. I enjoyed the Salmon Club Sandwich and the seasoned fries added a very nice touch. Other menu options include burgers, salads, Mexican, pasta, sandwiches, steak, and seafood. And after a hearty meal, be sure to save room for a homemade chocolate chip cookie. Bonus – a freshly baked cookie comes free with your meal Sunday through Thursday.

Camp Ticonderoga is also available for banquets and parties.
