Cooks Venture Meats Review

Cooks Venture meats review – Cooks Venture is a food box service that delivers delicious pasture-raised chicken, pork, and grass-fed beef to your door. It’s a meat delivery service ala Butcher Box, but not a weekly or monthly subscription service. Cooks Venture meats can be purchased online, and now they even sell some of their more popular items at retail stores like Meijer.

The chicken, beef and pork products featured are raised through more sensible farming systems and environmentally sound agriculture. Recently, Cooks Venture has expanded to include some of their more popular items at retail stores, I know Meijer features these products.

OAKLAND COUNTY MOMS BUSINESS REVIEWS

The company touts that it uses heritage breeds, everything is non-GMO, no antibiotics are used in raising their meats, and all animals used are pasture-raised.

Cooks Venture Meats Review

I sampled Cooks Venture because I was looking for quality pasture-raised chicken and grass fed beef. The online ordering was simple…there are two different sized boxes to choose from. Once you select your box, you select what you want to go in it. Cooks Venture ships it to you (rather quickly) and it’s packaged perfectly so everything is still frozen when it arrives. You also get a nice, reusable thermal shopping bag with each shipment.

Cooks Venture offers several different products, but does not have everything all the time. This is probably due to being sure to provide quality over selection and quantity.

Some of the items Cooks Venture offers are pasture-raised chicken breasts, tenders, thighs, wings, ground chicken, chicken sausage, grass-fed steaks, brisket, stir-fry beef, Kurobuta pork, and more.

Cooks Venture Meats Review – PROs
I have tried pretty much everything they offer and it has all been top quality and the best meat I’ve ever had. Honestly, my husband who is not a fan of chicken, will actually eat this chicken and said it tastes great. Plus, regenerative farming produces healthier food in my opinion. Also, shipping is always free, and Cooks Venture runs several discount promotions you can take advantage of.

Cooks Venture Meats Review – CONS
The food is expensive, so yes, you get what you pay for. If you can afford it, it is better for you. Another con is that they don’t always have everything in stock. So if a special offer comes up, you may not be able to take advantage of it if they don’t have what you want to order. They had these chicken nuggets a while back that my daughter loved, but I have not seen them since…and it’s been about a year!
