Cranbrook Schools Summer Camps 2024 – Cranbrook Schools offers traditional day camps and specialty camps for kids of all ages on their beautiful Bloomfield Hills campus. For years, Cranbrook Schools Summer Camps have been a tradition of fun and learning for campers of all ages. Hosted across the beautiful, historic campus, the hands-on summer programs offer a true Cranbrook experience through multi-activity traditional camps, specialty camps in art, robotics, sports, STEM, theatre, writing, and sport camps in soccer, field hockey, ice hockey, and flag football. Camps operate for up to eight weeks from age three through entering 12th grade.

The camps are accredited by the American Camp Association and licensed through the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential. Lunches and snacks are included for most camps. Transportation Service, Extended Care, After-Camp Enrichments, and a Monthly Payment Plan are available as options.

Cranbrook Schools Summer Camps Dates – June 17 – August 9, 2024 – Full, Half, and Partial sessions available.

Cranbrook Schools Summer Camps Tuition – Full (8 Weeks) $2960, Half (4 Weeks) $1610, Partial (1 Week) $445. Some camps vary; visit website for complete pricing.

TRADITIONAL CAMPS

Brookside Tots Day Camp
Offerings in this active, hands-on program encourage self-expression and creative diversity, while developing coordination and muscle skills.
Boys and girls ages 3-4

Brookside Day Camp
Brookside campers enjoy both recreation and instruction. Camp activities include music, art, science, nature, sports, movement, drama, and swimming.
Boys and girls ages 5-7

Cranbrook Day Camp
Cranbrook campers enjoy a rotating schedule of activities throughout the week including arts & crafts, science, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, and various other indoor and outdoor activities.
Boys grades 2-9

Kingswood Day Camp
Kingswood campers explore the campus of playing fields, woods, rivers, lakes, and gardens. They participate in a full schedule that includes swimming, sports, crafts, drama, arts, yoga, dance and science.
Girls grades 2-9

Cranbrook Theatre School
With the historic Greek Theatre as the centerpiece of Cranbrook Theatre School, campers work to cultivate confidence and nurture an understanding of the theatre arts through hands-on experience and exploration.

Robotics Day Camp
Robotics Day Camps offer sessions in a variety of robotic systems options.

Sport Camps
A variety of sports are offered during the summer as well as a Youth Multi-Sport Camp

STEM Day Camp
One of a handful of camps in the nation offering STEM camp modules developed by the Edgerton Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Boys and girls grades 3-7

Summer Art Studio
Campers receive instruction in classic art forms such as drawing, composition, painting, and sculpture, and will also expand their horizons into contemporary media such as building, illustration, and photography.
Boys and girls grades 2-10

Young Authors Day Camp
Aspiring young writers and creative thinkers are led through thoughtful and energizing processes that encourage exploration of language, genre, story structure, and character development through a variety of writing genres including poetry, realistic fiction, fantasy, and graphic novels.
Boys and girls grades 2-8

Youth Multi-Sports Camp
Campers are introduced to a variety of sports by incorporating basic sport skills and equipment into modified age-appropriate games and activities. Imaginations are captured while children improve coordination, balance, strength, eye-hand coordination and agility. Emphasis is on personal skill development while collaborative activities stress team participation in an inclusive atmosphere.
