Creative Journey Summer Art Camps – Fun Summer Field Trip Art Camps for kids ages 9-11 and Showcase Art Camps for kids ages 6-8 at The Creative Journey Studio in Clarkston, Michigan located at Social Medium.
Creative Journey Summer Art Camps
Each day blends aided instruction with tie for creative exploration. Campers will draw inspiration from the weekly theme while building skills through observation, experimentation and hands-on art making.
Different fun, age group appropriate themes each week for each age group. Young artists will explore a variety of mediums including: sketching, 2D & 3D modeling, chalk, clay, and more.
ALL supplies are provided and kids can take home their masterpieces at the end of each week for the whole family to enjoy.
The Creative Journey Studio is led by a passionate art educator dedicated to helping children explore their creativity and build confidence through art. All camps are instructor guided and focused on each week’s exciting theme. Every camper will also receive a camp t-shirt to wear during the week and take home. Snacks are provided, but children are asked to bring their own water bottles.

- Mondays through Thursdays from 9a-noon
Take a summer field trip to beautiful, inspiring locations throughout Metro Detroit. Each trip will offer inspiration to the week’s theme.

- August 3-6 – Spicer Orchards / Fields of Inspiration
Ages 9-11 campers will need transportation to and from locations on our special field trip day.

- Ages 6-8
- Mondays through Thursdays from 1p-3p
Campers ages 6-8 will participate in a special artist showcase at the end of the week, giving families a chance to view and celebrate their work.
