Crittenton Hospital ER Review – Review of a trip to the Crittenton Hospital Rochester MI Emergency Room. I know it is a bit odd to do a review about an emergency room, but I have to give credit where credit is due, especially when it is unexpected.
I had to take my son to the Crittenton Hospital ER recently because he was having SEVERE stomach pains. The last two times I had to go to the ER within the last 6 years, I went to Troy Beaumont because it was close, and was not all that impressed. The waits were LONG and I didn’t feel like anybody cared. They seemed to have so much on their plate that they were disorganized and the care lacked. I even got left in the hall on a stretcher waiting for an MRI for over an hour because they forgot about me!
So, when my son became ill and the pediatrician told me to take him to the ER, I opted for Crittenton. You never know what a trip to the ER is going to be like, so I always prepare myself beforehand by thinking it is going to be a long haul. I took my son to Crittenton Hospital ER at 8:30pm on a Saturday night. It was a smooth operation (no pun intended). Very effective. And we were in and out in 2 1/2 hours. It began with a quick greeting with the Crittenton Hospital ER registration desk, who then referred us to the Crittenton Hospital ER waiting room to await the triage nurse, who called us in within 15 minutes! We were then taken to Crittenton Hospital ER room and were greeted be a doctor. They had to do bloodwork, an IV port, urine sample, x-rays and meds. So, everything considered, it was a short stay and I was very pleased. I’ll definitely go to Crittenton Hospital ER again, but hopefully I won’t have to!
