Dark Chocolate Candy Clusters Recipe – Ingredients include dark chocolate, dried cranberries, shelled peanuts, and coarse sea salt.
Make your own chocolate candy clusters! What an easy dessert to make! And it has so much flexibility – you are basically making your own favorite creation! I use healthier dark chocolate and added dried cranberries for a bit of an antioxidant punch.
Dark Chocolate Candy Clusters Recipe Ingredients
- 1/2 lb dark chocolate (I use half of the pound plus dark chocolate bar from Trader Joe’s)
- dried cranberries
- shelled peanuts
- coarse sea salt
Dark Chocolate Candy Clusters Recipe Directions
Melt the chocolate in a saucepan on the lowest heat. It will take a few minutes, but slower is better. Add in whatever you like (cashews, coconut flakes, raisins, etc.). Stir well. I used dried cranberries and peanuts. Feel free to put a lot in there. So long as it’s covered with chocolate, it will work. You want the clusters to be full of mix ins. I used about 1 cup of each.
Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. Drop the chocolate mixture by the spoonful onto the wax paper. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt if you want. Refrigerate to cool. Once completely cooled, remove from wax paper and store in an airtight container, preferably in the refrigerator.
