Deer Lake Beach Swim Lessons Clarkston – Deer Lake Beach in Clarkston offers public and private swimming lessons for kids in Oakland County MI Independence Township Parks & Recreation has openings in both its very popular group swimming lessons and in private lessons this summer.
Held at Deer Lake Beach Clarkson in two-week long sessions, lessons are available for all levels of swimmers, ages 6 months to 11 years and up. There are 3 summer Deer Lake Beach swim sessions to choose from.

SWIM LESSONS LEVELS
Water Gigglers – $30 RES / $35 NON RES – 6 mos-18 mos
Tadpoles & Frogs – $50 RES / $60 NON RES – 18 mos-3 years / 3 years-4 years (with parent)
Minnows & Goldfish – $65 RES / $75 NON RES – 3-4 years (without parent) / 4 years-5 years (without parent)
Level 1 through Level 7 + Advanced – $75 RES / $85 NON RES – Ages 5+ / Advanced after passing levels 1-7
Levels are defined by suggested age groups. Parents should select which class is most appropriate for their child based on ability and skill level. For all swim programs, children not completely potty-trained must wear swim diapers. Disposable swim diapers are available for purchase at the beach.
All classes are held MONDAY through THURSDAY for two consecutive weeks. If for any reason a class is canceled, a make up class will be held on the Friday or Saturday of the same week as the canceled class.

Swim Instructors at Deer Lake Beach also offer private and semi-private swimming lessons through the summer – all ages welcome.

Despite having many repeat customers, there are always spaces available for first-time swimmers of all ages and abilities, and by popular demand, Independence Township Parks & Recreation has developed a private swim lessons program for swimmers looking for one-on-one instruction.
