Dinosaurs Alive Cedar Point

Dinosaurs Alive Cedar Point review, pics, and info – review and pics of the animatronic dinosaur-themed area of Cedar Point built in 2012. Dinosaurs Alive! runs on a long path (about one mile long) and is filled with over 50 life-sized replicas of various different dinosaurs. If you went through the winding path and took the time to visit with each dinosaur display, it could take up to an hour to complete.

Dinosaurs Alive Cedar Point Review

The dinosaurs are all mechanical and moving in life-like motion. Each station has educational info boards that give the name of the dinosaur and some “stats” – i.e. a description of the dinosaur’s size, where and during what era it existed, etc.

Throughout the path you will find more educational pieces about each era as well as some funny jokes. Also, about half way into the path is a giant sand pit for kids to go “Digging for Dinosaurs.” They are nicely shaded so the kids can take a quick break and play out of the sun.

At the end of the Dinosaurs Alive Cedar Point Review and Pics path, we saw that you can get your picture taken with T-Rex… perfect choice – I guess if you were to take a photo with a dinosaur, most kids’ first choice would be to take one with T-Rex, right?
