Berkley Ladies Night Out – The Berkley Downtown Development Authority welcomes visitors to Downtown Berkley, home to many new and longtime independently-owned small shops and a variety of dining options, for its first Ladies Night OUTside. This is the latest in the Downtown Berkley Nights Out series and it will be held on three consecutive nights. The event offers an entertaining and safe way for people to get out of their homes and out on the town, while also celebrating and supporting Downtown Berkley businesses.
Residents and visitors to Downtown Berkley are welcome outside of participating shops from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. each night. At storefront tables on sidewalks and side streets, there will be promotions, games and giveaways for a night of exuberance and savings. Participants can even enter to win a grand prize gift basket filled with wine, goodies and Downtown Berkley Bucks simply by posting a selfie at one of the businesses they visit.
Participating businesses include Ullman’s Health & Beauty, Vitrine Gallery & Gift, the newly opened Artsy Umbrella, a marketplace of handmade gifts and home décor from Michigan-based artists and a pop-up from Pinspiration Berkley, a new crafting studio opening in November.
To ensure everyone’s safety, physical distancing measures will be in place and complimentary Downtown Berkley masks will be available. There also will be a digital map on the Downtown Berkley website to let event-goers know which businesses are participating and any specials they’re offering for the weekend.
