This Fancy Pencils Kids Art Studio Summer Camps summer’s theme is the HELLO KITTY, PEPPA PIG, & SQUISHMALLOWS SUMMER ART CAMP. Welcome to the World of Hello Kitty, Peppa Pig, & Squishmallows, where art and cuteness collide. In this fun-filled camp, kids will be inspired by these adorable characters, and they will draw, color, paint, and create their unique masterpieces. Peppa Pig is Painting, Peppa Pig in Space, different Squishmallows (Frog with Mermaid…) and a Hello Kitty Paper Bag are the projects kids will work on.
Children will also learn about primary colors, secondary colors,, shapes, and patterns. They talk about warm and cool colors and how to make tints and shades. Mrs. Jasmin will teach them how to hold a brush, which brush to take, and how to load a watercolor brush.

Fancy Pencils Kids Art Studio Summer Art Camps for Kids
Summer camps are held weekly throughout the summer with FUN new themes each week for elementary school-age children. Instructor Jasmin Langsch provides individualized, specialized instruction so the following sessions are limited to 5 children per camp. June 22-26, 1p-3p, 6+

RAPTORS & FANGS SUMMER ART CAMP
July 6-10, 1p-3p, Ages 6+
The children will create art inspired by dinosaurs and other interesting prehistoric animals such as aquatic creatures and saber-toothed tigers. Exploring different watercolor techniques and detailed line drawings are just some of the projects included in this fun kids’ art camp. Register HERE.
ENDANGERED ANIMALS WORLD SUMMER ART CAMP
July 27 – 31, 1p-3p, Ages 6+
This camp features animals that are either endangered or threatened in need of conservation help. Several projects in this camp offer students the opportunity to create those animals. Register HERE.

DEEP IN THE FOREST SUMMER ART CAMP
August 10-14, 1p-3p, Ages 6+
Adventure into the trees with the deep in the forest summer art camp, where woodland creatures, fungi, ferns and perhaps even the occasional fairy makes their home. Cute draw and paint lessons scaled tree hole homes, high contrast skunk lessons and simple fox in the moonlight projects. SUMMER IN THE SWAMP SUMMER ART CAMP
August 17-21, 1p-3p, Ages 6+

ABOUT Fancy Pencils Art Studio
Fancy Pencils – Kids Art Studio in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan practices a guided teaching philosophy. In her cozy studio, Mrs. Jazmine has space for 5 children. All children will learn fundamental and more advanced drawing and watercolor painting, while exploring a variety of media including colored pencils, markers, crayons, oil pastels, and watercolors. Students will get lots of individual attention due to the studio’s small class size. Drawing can be exhausting due to the concentration, attention to detail, and focus it demands from the brain and eyes. Because drawing is usually a constant learning experience, brains tend to feel tired when processing new information. Mrs. Jasmin always incorporates brain brakes and snack breaks in her camps. It helps the children to refocus, boosts their brain function and increases their productivity.
