Seasonal Exhibition Space
The Discovery Zone is a seasonally changing immersive exhibition space with past themes including Day at the Beach, The Great Sticker Experiment, What Happens at Night, and so much more.

The Flint Children’s Museum’s outside play area is filled with weekly activities all throughout summer and is also home to a butterfly habitat, Edible Flint garden, and water rockets.
Museum Rentals / Field Trips / Birthday Party Info
You can even rent the museum for birthday parties and groups or rent out our big blue blocks for a community event to create a “pop up museum” of your own.
Visits are easy for schools and other education centers with activates specific to age or subject. The Flint Children’s Museum even cleans up after the party.
The Flint Children’s Museum is a way to create a unique birthday with three private room rentals for their first special year or an entire museum rental for age range of 2-10 year olds. The museum is made for hands-on play and discovery; where kids can learn and have fun while parents can connect with their children and create everlasting memories.
The Flint Children’s Museum hosts birthday parties for 2-hour time slots every Saturday and Sunday. Every party includes playtime at the museum and access to more than 40 different exhibits. The exhibits at FCM always rotate so you get a new experience every time you visit.
The are 3 different party rooms to choose from of varying sizes and 3 birthday packages to choose from as well. These party rooms are also ideal for Field Trips and for large groups of children. All party packages offer unlimited use of the museum for all the children (and adults).
Sensory Sundays
The 2nd Sunday of each month is Sensory Sunday. Quality quiet family time at the Children’s Museum with a calm space, foam pit, bubble tubes, soft lighting and marble wall. Admission is $8.
FCM Family Memberships / Admission Info
Family membership can be purchased for free admission all year round as well as some extra bonuses during events, special programming, or rentals for only $85.The Flint Children’s Museum also offers special prices throughout the year with the Summer Fun Passes from June 1-August 31 for one low price. Members receive unlimited visits to the FCM all year long for children (0-18) in immediate family and any two adults (parents, grandparents, babysitters, etc.) PLUS discounts to LEGOLAND, SEA LIFE, the Ann Arbor Hands On Museum, Sloan Museum, and Longway Planetarium.
General Admission
Admission is $8 per person or $6 for groups of 20 or more with prior reservations. Admission Gift Cards are available all year long.
