Free Slurpee Day 2024 – Free Slurpee day is July 11, 2024 (7-11). 7-Eleven stores will be giving away free 12-ounce Slurpees between 11a and 7p local time.
Free Slurpee Day on July 11th will celebrated at all Metro Detroit, Michigan 7-Elevens and 7-Elevens around the globe.
7-Eleven Free Slurpee Day 2024
For 2024, 7-Eleven has partnered up with the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to release a special edition Slurpee cup. Customers can also support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals by opting in to in-store fundraising campaigns.
To keep the Slurpee celebration going, 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members who scan their rewards information on Slurpee Day will get a coupon for one free small Slurpee drink to redeem before July 31.
NOTE – In previous years the press releases for Slurpee Day listed hours between 11a and 7p on July 11th, this year there are no specific hours listed. Perhaps you can get a FREE Slurpee any time on July 11th, I’m not sure… but in this article… I included the hours that had been listed in previous years.

On July 11th, 7-Eleven will recognize their 97th year as the retail leader of convenience, and it will mark the 57th birthday of the iconic drink – the Slurpee. Participating US stores will give away an estimated 9 million free small Slurpee® drinks from 11a to 7p local time, Thursday, July 11 (7/11), while supplies last.
7-Eleven has celebrated its birthday on July 11 for decades, but it wasn’t until its 75th birthday in 2002 that its stores began hosting coast-to-coast birthday parties with free Slurpee drinks for its customers.
Slurpees are as great as they ever were. When I was a kid, they held awesome promotions that went went along with the slurpees. Because Slurpees are such a summertime drink, they would have tie-ins with Major League Baseball where you could collect 16 oz plastic Slurpee cups of all your favorite major league players. Later they even sold collectable Slurpee coins which were small one inch discs with a baseball player picture on the front and their statistics on the back that were strategically fitted under the cup. Those were so fun to collect, more so than regular baseball cards! You can still find those awesome artifacts from my youth on ebay.
