FREE FIREWORKS SHOWS 2024 / FREE SUMMER FUN FOR KIDS
Metro Detroit Fireworks Shows – Late June through mid-July is full of FREE fireworks shows in Oakland County, Wayne County and Macomb County. Most are free or only require park admission or vehicle entry. Find the FREE Metro Detroit Fireworks Shows
FREE PARKS AND PLAYGROUNDS
Some local parks like Marshbank Park, Friendship Park, Bay Court Park, or Heritage Park (plus more) don’t charge admission to use their facilities and awesome playgrounds and playscapes. Paradise Peninsula at Waterford Oaks is free and features a HUGE playscape. Other OCM Recommendations include – Beech Woods Park, Seymour Lake Park, Clintonwood Park, and Innovation Hills in Rochester Hills. FREE OAKLAND COUNTY BEACHES
Some parks have local access to awesome Oakland County beaches and lakes. Lakeshore Park in Novi on beautiful Walled Lake is FREE, so is Bay Court Park in Clarkston on Greens Lake. Beach access is FREE at these parks and so is admission. Both of these beaches are considered “swim at your own risk” which means – NO Lifeguards are on duty.
FREE FUN PROGRAMS AT THE LIBRARIES
Free Oakland County Library Events – Summer reading programs, teen board game nights, movie showings, book clubs, video game tournaments, Lego events are only a few of the activities going on at our local libraries.
