Fuddruckers has five Michigan locations. I have visited the Fuddruckers in Sterling Heights and Bloomfield Twp.
They vary a bit from location to location and I prefer the Sterling Heights location over the Bloomfield Twp location. It seems to have more offerings at the toppings bar, the interior is more fun, bigger, and more suitable for hanging out with the kids.
Fuddruckers offers burgers and more. It is an at-the-counter order style restaurant. You place your order and once it’s up, you head to the toppings bar and prepare it just how you like it, find a place to sit, and soak up the retro, campy decor.
Some of the items on the Fuddruckers menu include different kinds of burgers which makes it nice to have options, such as buffalo, turkey, sliders, veggie, and even an ostrich burger. The ostrich burger has 1/2 the fat of chicken and is low in calories and cholesterol. Having these healthy options is a nice balance for a burger joint.

There are other Fuddruckers menu options outside of the burgers as well…chicken breast, hot dog, salads, fish n’ chips, salmon fillet sandwich, nachos, wings and more. But, one word of caution, not sure if the quality holds up on the non-burger menu items. I can’t speak on all of the items, but the quality of the salmon fillet sandwich was the worst I’ve ever had. The fillet was maybe a 1/4 inch thick at some points, plus, it said it was grilled. But when I got it, it was breaded and pan-seared. I was looking for a nice gluten-free option and it was far from it. Plus, there wasn’t an iota of pink hue to the salmon. It was hard to tell it even was salmon.
Pricing is what you’ll typically see for a burger joint, but as most have seen with dining out lately, once you’re finished adding on all the sides and drinks, you’re left with a pretty big bill. Fuddruckers Burgers average about $5+ for a 1/3 pounder, and up to $10.50 for a one pound patty. Fries will run you $2.39 for a small size or $3.39 for a large order. Salads start at $8.99 and inlcude a chicken Caesar, Napa Valley, Taco Salad, Caribbean salad and more. There are also some platter options that range from $13.99 to $16.99 and include the main entree (steak or chicken or shrimp…) pluse two sides. After having had the subpar salmon for $8.99, my guess is that these items are over-priced for the quality you’ll get. I’d say stick with the burgers at Fuddruckers and save these options for the restaurants that specialize in these types of dishes. If I’m spending $16.99, I’m going to expect a decent meal and I’m thinking I’d be disappointed.
Fuddruckers Bloomfield Twp Review – really good hamburgers at a high price. I do like how you can customize your burger with your own toppings as opposed to dealing with what you’re given. The Bloomfield location is OK but if you want a better, more fun Fuddruckers experience, try the Sterling Hts, MI location.
