Upon entering Stony Creek, simply follow Main Park Road to the right and Southdale will be one of the very first picnic areas on your left-hand side.

Go Ape! debuted April 14, 2017. The newly constructed Stony Creek Metropark zipline adventure course is a unique outdoor experience that takes participants on a 2-3 hour journey through the forest canopy. Guests will take on suspended obstacles through the jungle crossing tree tops, swing on a Tarzan swing and grab onto a rope wall, and glide through the breeze on a zip line while enjoying the incredible view of the park.

UPDATE – Go Ape! at Stony Creek Metropark is permanently closed.

There are five courses total. Guests can do all five courses in 2-3 hours. Sometimes there are options within the courses for guests to choose between an easy or more difficult route. Slim-fitted gloves are allowed if you prefer to wear them during the course. Hair ties are also encouraged.

The Zipline and Treetop Adventure at Stony Creek Metro Park has many adventurous obstacles. The highest platform is 50 Feet. The longest crossing is 71 Feet. The longest zip-line is a relaxing 609 Feet. The total length of the Zipline and Treetop Adventure at Stony Creek Metro Park is 2970 feet.

Go Ape! Stony Creek Metropark Zipline Prices

Guests will first need to pay entry to the park ($10 for a daily pass). Then, tickets for the Zipline and Treetop Adventure range from $39 (for 10-15 year olds) up to $49 (for 16-17 AND 18+). Anyone 15 and under requires adult supervision (1 adult for up to two children), and supervision can not be done from the ground level. Sixteen and seventeen year olds do not require a participating adult; they require a waiver signed by either their legal guardian or an adult (18+) who has obtained permission from their legal guardian.

In addition to the admission price… A Metroparks vehicle entry permit is required for access to Go Ape!. Vehicle permits are on sale NOW. You can pick one up at metroparks.com OR visit your local Metropark today.

Each guest will receive a 30-minute safety instructional briefing before heading on to the course. There are also staff throughout the course to help if needed.

There are certain restrictions for the zipline and treetop adventure course at Stony Creek Metro Park. Guests must be at least 10 years old, 4 Feet 7 Inches tall, and can not weigh more than 285 Pounds. Closed toe, closed heel, flat shoes are also required.

You can book ahead buy purchasing the Go Ape! Stony Creek Zipline and Treetop Adventure tickets online at their website, or you can purchase your tickets as a walk-in. Call ahead for large groups or parties.
