Green Babies Body Care Review – review of Green Babies body care products for baby. Includes Shampoo and Wash, bubble baths, detanglers, moisturizers, and more.
Even if you’re not a 100% green and organic enthusiast for all your purchases, it’s nice knowing there are “green” options out there for your baby’s body care soaps and shampoos.
Green Babies, an organic baby clothing brand, has developed a line of natural and organic body care products including Baby Me Shampoo & Wash, Energizing Bubble Bath, Calming Bubble Bath, Smooth Me Detangler and Lotion Potion Moisturizer, will are available at Whole Foods Markets, select specialty retail stores and the Green Babies website.
Green Babies new body care line is plant and fruit derived, vegan, hypo-allergenic and tear-free. It claims to carry the safest and most irritant-free products that won’t break the budget. The Green Babies® products do not contain synthetic fragrances, dyes, sulfates, parabens or phthalates.
I decided to be the guinea pig and try out the Baby Me Shampoo & Wash on myself for this review. As with many of the “green” shampoo products, I found it more difficult to lather the product once on my hair. But, that’s a small price to pay for not being exposed to the more common ingredients in most other shampoos.
After washing, my hair felt very clean and had lots of body so I am happy with the Green Babies® shampoo effectiveness. I also tried out the Lotion Potion Moisturizer. It absorbed nicely into the skin and left no sticky residue feeling, but rather a nice softness on the skin.
The products all have a nice smell to them, but a bit too dominant for my liking. I am quite sensitive to strong perfume-like scents. Plus, I loved how my babies had that wonderful new baby smell. Sometimes you just don’t want to cover that up. But, I can appreciate how Green Babies went with fresh, clean scents.
Green Babies is intending to offer these body care baby products at prices you can afford. The products retail between $8.99 and $10.99. This is on par with other “all natural” products, but could be considered a premium when compared to the pricing of the average/typical baby body care products. I hope this Green Babies Body Care review is helpful.
