The Auburn Hills / Great Lakes Crossing Kids Empire location is HUGE with floor to ceiling slides, mazes, dance floor, scooters, climbing toys, ball pits, scooter tracks, climbing nets, and more. The overall size and amount of play space dwarfs many other indoor playgrounds we’ve reviewed.

Indoor playground with a Northern Michigan Lodge theme for kids ages 1-12. Drop-in for a day, or purchase a membership, or a punch card. Rochester Play hosts many fun events throughout the calendar year, register early because they fill up quickly. The cafe menu is EXTENSIVE with freshly baked options. It also features several gluten-free and vegan options.

The biggest ball pit in I’ve seen and a wonderful toddler area. T&B is clean and very modern with indoor playground features that rival heavy hitters like Peppa Pig’s World of Play… but… T&B lacks a café and doesn’t have a lot of spaces for parents to sit down. Parking at T&B can be extremely difficult.

See the large indoor playground at the RARA Recreation building for kids under 12. This 3-level play structure has 3 slides, tunnels, obstacles, and more. A toddler area is separated for children under 3 years. It’s not the biggest (18×32 feet) indoor playground in Metro Detroit, but they pack a lot into the space PLUS it’s the most affordable. The playscape is enclosed so you never have to worry about your child wandering.
