Jimmy John’s Field Utica review, pics, and info – Jimmy John’s Field is the home field for the United Shore Professional Baseball League teams. USPBL teams include the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers, East Side Diamond Hoppers, and Utica Unicorns. The teams are comprised of ex college players. The skill level of the players is far from the Major League’s, but it’s an enjoyable watch on a hot summer night. The 3 teams play each other through the summer on Wednesdays through Sundays.

Jimmy John’s Field is a great option for an affordable family night out. Ticket prices range from $6 for lawn seats to $35 for the front row club (cushioned seats!), and everything in between. There are no bad seats at the Jimmy John’s Field in Utica. Even the lawn seats have a great view. There is a total capacity of 4,500 fans per game, with approximately 2,000 box seats between first and third base, 7 Founder’s Level Suites, 5 Premium Dugout Suites, 12 Private Patio Cabana Suites, 18 On Field Diamond Tables, 3 Summer Picnic, Group and Birthday Areas, and a Grass Berm Seating Area. The ballpark also features a state of the art scoreboard and a concert quality sound system.
In addition to great ticket prices, food and drinks are also more affordable than what you’d find at other similar venues. At Jimmy John’s Field Utica, you will find a wide selection of foods such as burgers, dogs, nachos, pretzels, gelato ice cream, BBQ, Philly Cheesesteaks, etc., but no Jimmy John’s subs. There’s also a bar located on the lower level of the ballpark to hang out during the game.
Baseball games at Jimmy John’s Field Utica are held Wednesday through Sunday, and many have family fun events tied into them, e.g. fireworks, $1 hot dogs, free popsicles, and so much more. There are some giveaways during the game, a dance cam, and fun stuff between innings. Kids can also run the bases after the game. It’s close to the same great family fun you’d get at a Tiger game, but for a fraction of the cost.
If the kids get fidgety, they can head over the mini Wiffle ball field and hit some balls of their owand run the bases. Team Mascots are also walking around and socializing with the fans.
Parking is pretty decent at the Jimmy John’s Field Utica ballpark. There is free parking a short 5 minute walk away. Parking is also available in some of the local parking lots. It’s easy to get in, and it’s easy to get out. One negative… Jimmy John’s Field Utica ballpark does not offer free WiFi.
Tickets can be purchased online, or at the ticket box office at the ballpark. May I suggest a Shamrock Burger from the Shamrock Pub before the game?
