Kaboom Shower Tub and Tile Cleaner Review – review of Kaboom Shower Tub and Tile Cleaner. I had a bottle of Kaboom cleaner sitting in my cupboard for a while – I don’t even remember where, when, or why I bought it. It must have been during one of my cleaning kicks where I purchased anything that sounded like it would be a “guarantee” top notch cleaner. Plus, Kaboom is an “Orange Glo” product and I’m a huge fan of those.
While cleaning the shower the other day, my husband was having zero luck with our trusty old Scrubbing Bubbles as well as the Lime-A-Way. Out of frustration, he pulled out the Kaboom cleaner.
I’ve read people’s reviews about the strong odor of Kaboom Shower Tub and Tile Cleaner. I have the “New Fresh Scent” Kaboom, so I don’t know if that makes a difference, but my husband and I both did not feel that the odors were toxic. There was a lingering scent, but it was nothing awful and we turned on the overhead fan and it was gone.
In my opinion, the Kaboom worked great – it blew away the Scrubbing Bubbles and the Lime-A-Way. My husband simply sprayed some Kaboom in the shower, let it sit for a minute, and then scrubbed it with a brush. Everything came clean! Yes, it took a little bit of “elbow grease” but it didn’t even compare to the amount of effort he was putting into it when using the Scrubbing Bubbles (which are supposed to do the scrubbing for you, right?).
Honestly, he tried every cleaner prior to that and even tried the hot steam method. The Kaboom worked the best and is now a front runner in our cleaning arsenal, quite possibly up there with the Earth-Gard cleaner (see below for my review of Earth-Gard cleaner).
Kaboom is sold at Bed Bath and Beyond stores, as well as many online retailers, including Amazon. The average price of Kaboom is about $5.99 per bottle. I hope you find this Kaboom Shower Tub and Tile Cleaner review helpful.
