While vacationing recently in Traverse City (TAMARACK LODGE REVIEW), my husband and I had a craving for beer and burgers. Tamarack Lodge had a great brochure with restaurants, places to go and see… we found Mackinaw Brewing Company and happily checked it out.
The menu at Mackinaw Brewing Company offers appetizers that go great with some microwbrewed beers… potato skins, dill havarti cheese sticks, smokehouse meats, wings, etc. There are six different burgers and some with unique twists like the Olive Burger (topped with green onions). I ordered the Black n Bleu Burger and my husband had the Olive Burger.

The Mackinaw Brewing Company also offers salads (e.g. Warm Meditteranean, Tuna Nicoise, Grilled Asian Chicken, etc.), sandwiches (Brew Pub Club, Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, etc.), and dinner entrees (Fish & Chips, Ribs, Steak, Sausage, Mac n Cheese, etc.). Overall the prices on the Mackinaw Brewing Company menu range from $7-$17 for the apps, $5-$15 for the salads, $13-$14 for the sandwiches, and $15-$27 for the entrees.
