Madison Heights Recreation Summer Camps – The City of Madison Heights offers a variety of summer day camps for kids ages ages 6-16 (must have a year of completed kindergarten) that include weekly field trips.

Get your kids ready for their best summer yet, at the City of Madison Heights Summer Day Camp! This camp offers something for everyone, whether your child loves to be active or loves creating pieces of “art”, they will have fun at this camp. The City of Madison Heights plans their days with your child in mind. The staff is one of a kind, well-trained, and attentive to what your kids want. Madison Heights Recreation offers multiple programs to accommodate campers from age 6 to 12 as well as options for Highschooler looking for some responsibility.
Madison Heights Recreation Summer Camps Fun in the Sun Camp is for children between the ages of six and eight. Adventure Day Camp is for children between the ages of nine and twelve. The new Counselors In Training Camp is perfect for those from fourteen to sixteen who love camp and would like to learn useful leadership skills while assisting in our summer camp programs. The camps will venture on at least one field trip each week.

Fun in the Sun, Adventure, & Counselors In Training Day Camps Info & Cost
Fun in the Sun, Adventure, and Counselors In Training Day camps take place weekdays from June 15, 2026 through August 14, 2026 from 7:30a-5p.
Madison Heights Parks and Rec camps cost just $190 per week with an opportunity for several camp discounts. For example… Sign up for between four & seven weeks and camp costs just $180.50 per week. Sign up for ALL 8 weeks and camp costs just $171 per week. The Counselors in Training camp costs $120 per week. PLUS – If you are a Madison Hts resident, you automatically save $10 per week. Please note that after June 1, 2026 the price increases by $25 per week.
Madison Heights Recreation Summer Camps Day Camps are held at Edmonson Elementary School (621 East Katherine, Madison Heights, MI 48071). The Day Camp is conveniently located at the crossroads of 12 Mile and John R, a short distance from both I-75 and I-696.
