Maybury Farm Summer Camps
Farm Campers attend camp on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9a-4p daily. With over 70 farm animals of various breeds and varieties, a large farm garden filled with delicious vegetables and produce, trails through forests and fields and plenty of green space to play and learn, Maybury Farm Camp has something for every camper who attends. Campers are given opportunity and responsibility to help feed and care for the farm animals and farm garden and learn about how these important resources provide the food and fiber they use every day. Hikes along the trail lead to discoveries about the many trees, plants and crops that make up Michigan habitats. Group games and a camper-designed parent presentation help campers develop teamwork and leadership skills. Time is balanced between structured learning and free time to form friendships and encourage creative and imaginative play. Curriculum aligns with Michigan science standards to complement classroom learning.
