Michigan Cyber Academy is an accredited, tuition-free online high school for students ages 14-21 that reside anywhere in the state of Michigan.
Students can earn their high school diploma, endorsed by Hazel Park Public Schools, via the 100% Hazel Park Public Schools online program. Michigan Cyber Academy is a viable alternative to traditional high school.
Registration is currently open for the 2023/2024 school year is now open. Students can either enroll online or by telephone.
Non-Traditional Learning
Students can learn at their own pace and on their own time. The MCA program is ideal for students who work full time, have busy schedules or simply find a non-traditional environment to be more beneficial.
Students can access their coursework at any time and are required only to have access to internet and a computer, laptop or tablet. Students can also visit the computer lab at the Hazel Park location, where FREE use of computers and internet is provided. For eligible students, Michigan Cyber Academy will also provide a tablet to complete their studies.
The Academy is open to students ages 14-21 that reside anywhere in the state of Michigan. For those who have started high school in another district, the academy can help facilitate the transfer of coursework previous completed at other schools.
The staff at MCA is always available to help with consultation and support available online or in person at the Hazel Park location.
Michigan Cyber Academy Eligibility Requirements
A Student must be 14 to 21 years old on September 1 to be eligible for enrollment. Required documents include a birth certificate and immunization records.
Proof of Michigan residency is also required. Prospective students are required to provide ONE of the following…
- Valid Michigan Drivers License
- Voter Registration Card
- Property Tax Statement
- Rent Receipt / Mortgage / or Current Lease Agreement
- Gas / Electric / or Water Bill from the last 60 days
