Fall is my favorite season. The cider mills, high school football, college football, tailgating, and… of course, the beautiful fall colors. We started collecting fall foliage pics from Oakland County Moms readers in 2007 in addition to taking our own. Through the years, and many website updates, we’ve lost some of the pics along the way. Most of the fall foliage pics we received were VERY local. Usually one thinks of “up north” Michigan or the UP when they think of beautiful autumn leaves pics but these pics prove that you can see amazing fall colors right here in SE Michigan. This page will be updated numerous times this fall.

Fall colors in Southeast Michigan typically start around the third week in September and peak by the 2nd week of October.

If you have any Michigan Fall Foliage pics you’d like to submit to this photo gallery, please submit them by contacting me here. Most pics submitted are done so anonymously but please include the location of your picture and your name if you’d like to be properly cited for your photo submissions.

These Michigan Fall Foliage pics were taken in and around Oakland County and Macomb County by Glen LaGrou or Lisa LaGrou and numerous Oakland County Moms readers since 2007.
