CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit Disorder) holds several seminars and group support at various location in Oakland County. Parent to Parent provides educational information and support for individuals and families dealing with ADHD and learning to navigate the challenges of ADHD across the lifespan. Courses are offered in local communities across the country. The curriculum was developed by parents who have lived the experience, but who also have had access to the best researchers and practitioners in the country. The entire course includes 14 hours of time and is usually offered as a seven week class, meeting for two hours once a week. Each participant receives extensive materials to support the including articles, reference materials, handouts and homework assignments.
