Oakland County Parks is seeking qualified Lifeguard candidates for Waterford Oaks Waterpark, Red Oaks Waterpark, Groveland Oaks County Park, Independence Oaks County Park.

For Oakland County Parks, previous lifeguard experience is not necessary. Oakland County Parks will provide mandatory training in May. Seasonal summer employment is limited to 13 weeks. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older; be able to swim 200 yards without resting; tread water for two minutes without using arms; and perform a feet-first dive to retrieve a brick at an eight-foot depth.
