Oakland University World Language Summer Camps – Fun, immersive foreign language and culture camps for kids grades 5-9. Choose French, Japanese, or Spanish. No previous experience with these languages is required.
All of these camps include language conversation, games, daily outdoor activities, group activities, presentations and more.
Each camp features exploration of a foreign culture and the language skills required to speak about these subjects. Campers will learn about the language through active participation in culturally authentic, fun activities!
Topics may include social media, movies, food, art, etc… Campers will be given opportunities to speak in meaningful dialogue in their language subject. On the last day of camp, parents will be invited to a closing ceremony where students can demonstrate what they have learned.
