We can’t tell you how many times through the years that people have reached out to us to ask about etiquette classes or manners classes for children. We know Tea Party Castle in Shelby Twp used to host “etiquette lessons” regularly but I don’t think they do any more. Once in a while, someone will send us info on a one-off class but honestly, it’s been a while.
OCC Marvelous Manners Camp
Oakland Community College is hosting a Manners Camp on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 11a-1p at the OCC Orchard Ridge Campus in J Building (3rd Floor Room 306). This camp is for kids ages 8-12.
“Join us for an engaging and interactive experience at Marvelous Manners Camp led by certified etiquette trainer Courtney Opalko. This special class is designed to equip your child with essential social skills and modern manners that are crucial for building confident leaders. Through fun games, role-playing exercises and group activities, children will be introduced to concepts including growth mindset, confidence, respectful communication, being their best self and table manners.”
