Piggy Paint Nail Polish for Kids Review

Piggy Paint Nail Polish for Kids Review – review and ingredients info for Piggy Paint, a water-based, kid-friendly nail polish that doesn’t have harsh fumes or chemicals.

I can honestly say that I never thought about nail polish being any different than what we have… i.e. somewhat smelly and fumy but does the job. Little did I know that you could get a high-quality nail polish for kids that is water-based and without all the fumes and chemicals, but works just as well. That’s why I need to give huge props to mom of two Melanie Hurley who invented the safe nail polish for kids concept after she accidentally dripped your average solvent-based nail polish onto a foam plate and it ate right through it!

Piggy Paint Nail Polish is made of natural ingredients. It is non-toxic and has low odor, probably because it is water based. Piggy Paint Nail Polish is also hypoallergenic. The Piggy Paint Nail Polish Ingredients are Water, acrylates copolymer, butoxy diglycol, Neolone 950. It May contain mica, red 34 lake, ultramarines, titanium dioxide, iron oxide pigments.

My daughter and I tried out the Piggy Paint and were happy to see that nothing was compromised in this water based nail paint formula. Piggy Paint went on so evenly and smooth. It also had the perfect “consistency” which allowed for one coat to achieve full coverage and no streaks. It is recommended to use a blow dryer during the drying process for maximum chip resistance.

Piggy Paint also offers a polish remover that has low-odor and no acetone. I always found myself holding my breath and turning my head away when I would remove my nail polish in the past. I can’t believe that there is now a remover that is completely safe. However, I have to admit it doesn’t work all that well. There is a trade off. You will be using a lot more elbow grease to remove the polish. At one point, I didn’t have the patience so I switched to my non-acetone polish remover that I got from the local beauty supply store. Piggy Paint Polish Remover is hypoallergenic and biodegradable. The ingredients in Piggy Paint Polish Remover are Corn alcohol, butyl diglycol, Aloe Vera extract, Vitamin E, embittering agent.

I prefer Piggy Paint for myself as well. My daughter agreed to let me use hers until I can check out the Piggy Paint selections for the more “mature” user. And, for those who are “expecting,” Piggy Paint is safe for use during Pregnancy.

Again, hats off to Melanie for thinking there’s got to be a better way, and then discovering the kid-friendly, Piggy Paint safe for kids nail polish.

Piggy Paint is available online at the Piggy Paint website, amazon, and other online stores. You can also find it locally at Briliant Sky Toys & Books in Rochester Hills, Honeypie Kids in Oakland Township, Restyle Child in Birmingham, Modern Natural Baby in Ferndale, and Hearts of Inspiration in Northville.
