Pond Hill Farm Harbor Springs Fall Festival Activities

Hayrides – a nice 30-minute ride on a wagon that takes you all over the property, with a stop at a trout pond where you can feed the fish.
Pumpkin Smashing – use a mallet to smash a pumpkin, squash, or an apple.
Pumpkin Bowling – roll a pumpkin down a long, steep hill and win prizes if you can land your pumpkin in one of the barrels.
Squash Rocket – use a giant slingshot to sling squash into a field. Apples and pumpkins also available for slinging. Hit a target, win a prize.
Playground – wooden structures, swings and more for the kids to play on.
Vineyard Overlook – at the highest point of the farm you can enjoy the views and get some great pics.
Tasting Barn – nice, rustic barn with hay grounds and lights strung throughout. Set up for beer and wine tasting.
The Garden Cafe – located in the upper level of the farm market building. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Farm Market – not necessarily all produce at this one. Enjoy some produce, beer, wine, canned goods, soaps, gifts, snacks, and ice cream bars.
Pumpkin Patch – pick a pumpkin for purchase from the wide selection in the pumpkin patch.
Hiking Trails – six miles of trails to be enjoyed year round! It’s even groomed in the winter for cross country skiing, snow shoes, fat tire biking or hiking.
Sheep Feeding – use the quarter machine to get a handful of food to feed the sheep.

Some of the activities at Pond Hill Farm’s Fall Festival cost a small fee, but you can do a lot with your family that’s low cost, and free as well. In addition to all the activities, there’s a small shack outside for buying snacks and cider. They even have a s’more kit available for purchase that can be cooked up at the cozy bonfire.

There’s wine, hard cider, and beer tasting at the cafe, Tasting Room, and the Tasting Barn. You can get your drink “to-go” in a plastic cup so you can take it with you as you walk the grounds or while you enjoy a hayride.
