Professional Karate School of America Rochester Hills Review – Review of martial arts classes at Profesional Karate School of America in Rochester Hills MI
Karate has been known to improve concentration, self-discipline, respect, leadership skills, focus, self-confidence, and physical fitness. It’s no wonder that Karate is fast becoming a popular sport for kids. But, not every class is the same. A quality karate program is definitely worth it, and it all starts with a quality instructor.
Marc Gerstenberger is the owner of Professional Karate School of America (PKSA) and has been teaching karate for three years. He owns PKSA in Rochester Hills which just opened this year. He was one of our contributors at the “It Takes A Village Kids Club” and ran a family fun karate session for the large group of kids who attended for a full hour and a half.
My initial thought about Marc was how great he was with the kids. The kids in the group ranged in age from three to eleven and he kept them all engaged, interested, entertained, and following along. The kids all respected Marc and the group was under control at all times. I think this is one of the most important skills a karate instructor must have to make a class effective.
Marc offers Tang Soo Do karate classes at Professional Karate School of America in Rochester Hills for people of all ages starting around 5 or 6 for kids and all the way up to 96+. They also have a Little Ninjas class for the younger ones, usually for a mature 3-5 year old. At PKSA’s Little Ninjas, there are no belt levels, and it’s low key. The Little Ninjas class gets the kids some exercise and activity and allows them to transition later on to the karate class. Fees for karate classes at Professional Karate School of America in Rochester Hills vary depending on the class and sometimes they run specials so call for more info.
