Puss in Boots Movie Review

Puss in Boots Movie Review – review of the Puss in Boots Movie starring the voices of Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayaek, Billy Bob Thronton, and others.

I had the opportunity to see Puss in Boots at a pre-screening. The movie officially comes out in theatres Friday, October 28.

I have not seen Shrek, so I was not familiar with the story line of Puss in Boots, i.e Puss in Boots tells the events leading up to the sword fighting cat’s meeting with Shrek and his friends. Never the less, the movie was enjoyable and stood alone well.

Without giving away too much, I can say that this movie was entertaining, based on it’s wonderful effects, humor and plot. Back to the effects for a moment… the movie is 3D and is probably the best 3D movie I’ve seen. There were shots and angles that gave it an IMAX feel. And the attention to detail was there, down to floating specs of dust in a dimly candle-lit room.

Children and adults alike laughed along as Puss in Boots kept us entertained. There were even moments of suspense mixed in with lessons of friendship and loyalty.
