Qivana’s QORE Detox Alternative Autism Therapy

Qivana’s QORE Detox Alternative Autism Therapy – My neighbor has sought Qivana’s QORE Detox as a therapy for her severely autistic daughter that she combines with Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and special diets (gluten-free / casein-free).

Although my son has Asperger’s, he is very high-functioning. My son was diagnosed extremely early and I’m pleased to report we’ve encountered dramatic success with his symptoms through hard work and a mix of alternative therapies. Sadly, I have seen other families facing far greater challenges with their autistic spectrum children.

My neighbor, Marta, has a six year old daughter, Joy, that was diagnosed with autism when she was two. Joy has faced numerous challenges in her struggles with autism – non-verbal speech and the inability to sustain eye contact or communication with people. She is also prone to frequent outbursts. Marta is a wonderful mother and has given everything in her life to help her daughter. I have known Joy and her family for several years now. I have seen every avenue Marta has tried. Her pursuit is to do everything she can to help her daughter. Marta tried biomedical approaches and saw no results. Marta was seeing changes with the incorporation of Occupational Therapy and a gluten free/casein free diet and she also claims ABA therapy helped in the earlier days. But still, Joy was really struggling with her Autism symptoms, biting and screaming all of the time. Marta tried an alternative therapy for autism more recently that she says has made the biggest difference of all in the progress of her daughter.

Seeking out alternative therapies for autism is difficult in many ways. Parents are often left with a professional diagnosis followed by little in the way of professional recommendations and help. These same professionals often only provide scrutiny for parents seeking outside help via alternative therapies, i.e. special diets, Occupational therapy, Speech therapy, Chelation therapy and many more. Many parents are reporting great success with the symptoms of autism through these therapies even though the medical community often likens alternative therapies as “snake oil” that provide hope but little else. Personally, I have encountered great progress in my son through the implementation of a gluten-free/casein-free diet. Through writing the OCM Autism Diary, I’ve encountered many parents who have varying degrees of success with alternative therapies. Some report tremendous progress in experimenting with alternative therapies and some report little change. Since very few conclusions from the medical community have been made and virtually nothing is standardized, doctors are extremely apprehensive to recommend alternative therapies outside of a clinical setting. This leaves parents trying to help their children with autism with few options.

Marta recently sought Qore Detox as an alternative therapy for Joy. Qivana’s QORE Detox contains Puratox®, an exclusive blend of natural products, with a scientifically validated ability to rid your body of heavy metals, free radicals and toxins.  Puratox is made with a unique, molecularly-modified citrus pectin (MCP), giving it the ability to be assimilated into the blood stream, bind to toxins and provide a deep cleansing of heavy metals. The Puratox blend also has QAI Certified Organic Kelp and Modified Alginate Complex that cleanses the digestive tract and helps prevent the reabsorption of toxins.

Joy has been on the Qore Detox program for a while now. I just stopped over the other day and I could see that Joy has eye contact now and is much better able to express herself. She is able to communicate better and continues to show progress. Marta also feels Joy’s concentration is better, as well as her memory. The progress appears slow but very noticeable. Much better than I’ve personally witnessed with Joy in years.

Marta has been working hard to keep consistent with the detox and she is very pleased with the results. Marta says “as a Mom you have to be consistent, meaning you have to give and do whatever it takes to make sure your child gets everything they need to live a quality life.” She is continuing the gluten free/casein free diet, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. All these components put together have brought the most success Marta has seen with Joy’s progress ever.

The detox is a capsule supplement that can be taken in water if needed. You can find it on the Qivana website.

This article was posted in April of 2011. I reached out to my Marta to see if her daughter Joy is still using and progressing with Qivana. While she is no longer having Joy use the product, Marta continues to speak highly of the product and the progress Joy did make when using it.
