Red and Green LED Christmas Laser Light Show Review – After hearing that the latest As Seen On TV Star Shower Laser Light Show is the biggest and greatest thing on the market, I set out to purchase one to compliment my outdoor Christmas light display. However, every single store and every single online avenue was sold out with no hope in sight of getting more in time for this holiday season. And, it was still only late November. While doing my search, I saw that some of the customer reviews had some complaints about the Star Shower Laser Light Show and that they found better products out there. I figured my only way to get a laser light show was to go with a different one and hope it would be even better than the Star Shower Laser Light.

I went on amazon.com and found a laser light show that was distributed by Direct Deals. It was called the Red and Green LED Christmas Laser Light Show. I decided to go this route an placed my order.
These Christmas lights projection devices and laser light shows aimed at houses are the hot new trend in Christmas lights much like “icicle lights” were decades ago. The real benefit to these Christmas lights is that these Christmas light projection options are (extremely) easy to set up and you don’t have to hang strands of lights to make your home look nice for Christmas. Simply stake it into the ground and you have a Christmas lights display that doesn’t need hours to put together (and take down). This is a great alternative to ladders!
The Red and Green LED Christmas Laser Light Show I found on Amazon was shipped quick and came brand new and in working order. It is a sturdy unit as it is made with metals rather than plastic (like the As Seen on TV product). The Red & Green LED Christmas Laser Light Show obviously has two colors like the Star Shower Laser Light Show, but the main difference is that the lasers move. The Red and Green LED Christmas Laser Light Show is literally a laser light show with the lasers moving in patterns and “dancing” on your house. With the Star Shower Laser Light Show, you’re looking at laser lights projected onto the house that are supposed to simulate hung lights, so they don’t move. I actually like the still light effect better than the light show, but both are pretty to look at it.
The Red and Green LED Christmas Laser Light Show from Direct Deals comes with a stake that you put into the ground and the laser light swivels both horizontally and vertically so you can get it pointed just right. I tried to move ours further back to cover more area, but it made it harder to see the lights so I brought it in close and only covered about 300 sf of our home’s exterior. For the size of our home (we have a horizontally sprawled out ranch) we would have needed two of the Star Shower Laser Lights to cover our entire home. The price of two would have been about the same as what I paid for one of the Red and Green LED Christmas Laser Light Show. I wasn’t about to buy two and spend a near fortune. Instead I got one quality product and shined it on one section of our house.
The Red & Green LED Christmas Laser Light Show is bright enough to see well on our house, even with other Christmas lights already hung. I’m guessing they would look even brighter if it was pure darkness. The bricks on my house are dark brown and the laser lights still show up very nicely. Sure, it they would appear much more vibrant on white brick or aluminum siding, but even darker bricks and siding work sufficiently with the lasers.
The Red & Green LED Christmas Laser Light Show product comes with a 1 year unconditional warranty. The Red & Green LED Christmas Laser Light can operate in temps of -15 degrees F to 90 degrees F. It comes with a really nice long cord which helps, and it can also be used indoors. So far, it is holding up very well and seems quite durable.
UPDATE – As I’m writing this post, I tried to find the Red and Green LED Christmas Laser Light Show item on Amazon, and this one too is unavailable, with a message stating that they don’t know when or if this item will be back in stock.
