Red Devil Restaurant Holly Michigan Review – review and menu info for Red Devil Italian American Restaurant in Downtown Holly MI.
I stopped at Red Devil Italian American Restaurant in Holly after some recommendations and I’m glad I made the trip for a review. Red Devil Restaurant Holly is a great family-style restaurant that is easy on the pocketbook and offers a wide array of American staples and traditional Italian fare. Despite going on a Tuesday at 1pm, the restaurant was crowded with locals. While the interior of Red Devil Restaurant looks like it hasn’t been updated in decades (it’s clean though), it’s easy to see why Red Devil has been successful since it’s opening in 1973.
Our waitress told us that Red Devil is known for their pizza so we ordered a standard small and their specialty baked Italian sandwich known as a Pizzelli. The Pizzelli is a special, round sandwich topped with ham, mozzarella, salami, tomato, onion and their own dressing. Both were excellent and affordable.
Affordable is a staple at Red Devil. They offer daily M-F lunch specials you can order: lasagna, penne, personal pizza, Pizzeli, meatball sub, fish & chips or spaghetti with meatsauce. All of these lunch specials include salad and a bread basket. If you’re in the mood for a strictly Italian meal, try the Red Devil Italian Feast. The Italian Feast boasts a meal of antipasto salad, bread basket, meat ravioli, lasagna, and spaghetti with meatsauce. I really liked that on most of their dishes they had the option of ordering a “hearty portion” or “light portion” with 2 different prices (you really get your money’s worth on the “hearty”). Kids’ meals are plentiful at Red Devil and affordable as well. All kids’ meal prices are below $5.00 and there are several Italian and American kid favorites. Unfortunately we didn’t have room for dessert. Red Devil offers ice cream, cheesecake, tiramisu and sundaes. You can even order beer and wine (glass or bottle) with your meals.
