Stony Creek Metropark Nature Center review, pics, hours, and info for the Nature Center at Stony Creek Metropark in Shelby Twp, MI. If you’re entering Stony Creek Metropark from Main Park Rd, follow the road to the right until you see signs for the Nature Center road.
Renovated from the ground-up in 2009, the Stony Creek Nature Center is very modern and features hand-on interactive learning stations, numerous displays, easy access to nature areas, and many critters to check out. The Nature wasn’t much more than a house with some aquariums in it when I was a kid. I’m thankful for the upgrade and thankful they held on to the beautiful wooden balcony deck that overlooks acres of scenic forest and a stream.
