METROPARKS EVENTS CALENDAR

Renovated from the ground-up in 2009, the Stony Creek Nature Center is very modern and features hand-on interactive learning stations, numerous displays, easy access to nature areas, and many critters to check out. The Nature wasn’t much more than a house with some aquariums in it when I was a kid. I’m thankful for the upgrade and thankful they held on to the beautiful wooden balcony deck that overlooks acres of scenic forest and a stream. You’ll definitely want to check out the balcony deck in the back of the Nature Center, especially during the Fall.
