The Henry Ford Summer Camps – Kids Grades 2-7 explore, conduct hands-on experiments, explore ideas, and overcome challenges at The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.
The Henry Ford Summer Camps 2026
Camps take place Mondays through Fridays between 9a-4p (extended care is available) through 5 weeks this summer
Camps are divided among different age group so each camp is tailored to each group’s developmental and educational needs. Camps take place on the grounds of The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation and Greenfield Village.
- GRADE 2 – Superheroes Camp – Kids learn their and practice their own innovation skills
- GRADE 3 – Movers Camp – Campers uncover how innovation keeps us moving – from planes, to trains, to automobiles
- GRADE 4 – Explorers Camp – 4th Graders explore our environment and how people use our natural resources
- GRADE 5 – Growers Camp – Exploring the journey and cultivation of food from seed to plate
- GRADE 6 – Makers Camp – Explore new ideas and ingenuity and create interesting projects
- GRADE 7 – Dreamers Camp – Hands-on experience with different art mediums and learning how artists impact our lives

“Throughout the week, campers will uncover stories of American innovation as they explore The Henry Ford. They will get inspired through hands-on activities, discover their own potential by working on creative projects, and enjoy unique experiences exclusive to THF Summer Camp.”
Kids will explore Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. Campers will participate in hands-on experiences through each week of camp and enjoy signature experiences available only to camp-goers. Get ready for each fun week of using creativity and problem-solving!
